I've had the microwave for just over a year and it worked fine until recently.

While cooking the microwave completely shuts off(including the display) after approximately 3 to 4 minutes. The unit stays off approximately 10-15 minutes before it powers back on. Unplugging or flipping the breaker on and off doesn't help any. We just have to wait until it comes back on. It almost appears to be a thermostat situation

It is cooking fine but keeps shutting off as described.

It does sound like a bad thermostat.

Do you hear the fan running when the unit is cooking?

Sorry I don't have the breakdown on this microwave.
