Default Microwave repair help
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: RVM1335BC001
Age: 1 - 4 years

When I was replacing a light bulb in my GE microwave, it broke and blew? the other light and fan. I have replaced the lights, but they do not work, nor does the exhaust fan. The other electronic parts of the unti work perfectly (clock, power, all controls, etc.). What part do I need to replace to get the lights and fan working? Thanks!

You will have to check your wiring diagram.

You may have shorted the board.

Here is a link to your microwave model RVM1335BC001.

Checked the wiring diagram about shorting the board - wouldn't all the power on the control box be off? Right now the microwave works perfectly EXCEPT for the externam, lights and fan. Thanks for your help.
