My microwave suddenly stopped working today. IF I press the time cook button, and enter a desired time to heat up my food. The light on the inside will light up and the timer will count down, but it won't do anything else. It appears to me just the timer is counting down. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated, Thank you in advance.

You may have a failed door switch or it could be a problem with the control board.

With out testing the circuit it is very hard to say what is wrong.
