Default Microwave Problem
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JVM 1430BA oo1
Age: More than 10 years

Microwave is a GE spacemaker X1400.
This microwave quit heating or cooking. It still will run and the interior and surface lights work, the clock is working and the Vent Fan will run. I really like
this microwave and would like to fix the problem if it dosen't cost to repair it
nearly as much as it would to buy a new microwave.
Would appreciate any help you can give.

The magnetron has failed and the cost of the repair would be more than a new microwave.

A magnetron is anywhere from 135.00 and up plus the labor to install it.
