Default Microwave not heating
Model Number: NN-S688WA
Age: 5 - 10 years

Went to use it this morning and found it not working. The display and light work, and I can enter cook time, etc., but when I press "start" it just starts counting down the time. No noises at all. The light comes on in the oven, but no heat, sounds, or turntable function. Any advice would be appreciated before I rush out to buy a new one.

Thanks in advance,

-Al-

Scratch that. While I was registering and posting here I had left the oven unplugged. After my post I plugged it back in and reset the time and now it works fine. Figured I'd post this result in case anyone else has a similar problem.

Thanks anyway.

Thank you for the information. I wouldn't have thought to unplug the unit and let it sit for a while, then plug it back in. Good to know sometimes the easy things work.
