 Microwave has gone crazy Brand: Jenn-Air Model Number: JMV8000BDB Age: 5 - 10 years
Our microwave has gone crazy. When you push a key on the keypad, something other than intended occurs. For example, when the "1" is pushed, "2" appears on the display. It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. If you push enough buttons eventually you sometimes can get what you want. Occasionally, when the microwave finishes its cooking, it just starts over again. I suspect this is a problem with the control board. If this sounds right, can I replace it myself or should I look for a new one? I am very handy but don't do soldering. |
