I have had painters in my house doing what they do. Today, one of them dribbled some paint down the front of my 5 month old microwave/range hood unit. Then they used Goof Off to try to remove it. The Goof Off clouded the surface of the see through plastic film on the front side of the door. I would like to know if the film is a replaceable part. In addition, I would like to know how to disassemble the door. Is there a service manual available on-line somewhere.

It does not show a film that goes over the door.

The only one is show is the one one the inside.

Can you peel the film off?

This may be a protective coating that is there for shipping.

If not is a piece of one of the other door parts.

This repair should be done by a technician so they can do a leak test after the repair.

OK not a reply but my handel broke on my unit is it reparable is it complicated....

Here is the outcome for my original post. I had to replace the entire door. Really simple to do.
