Microwave door handle replacement

The plastic trim around the outside of the door is cracking/breaking. The door handle appears to be connected to, or fits through. the plastic trim. Can the plastic trim/handle be replaced separately, or do I need to buy the entire door assembly? The door assembly number from GE's website is WB55X10405; #2 in the schematic.

Does anybody knows how to replace the handle on a GE-Spacemaker microwave jvm-1650-BH?
