I ordered a new door handle from Sears, but I am unable to remove the inside door trim to get at the screws. I don't want to break more parts by using force. Could a Kenmore expert please give me directions?

It is not recommended that you repair the microwave yourself.

It should be leak tested after a repair to the door.

Thanks for your concern, but I have a 2.9GHz spectrum analyzer and know how to measure microwave radiation. (I have a telecom engineering business) I can do before and after tests to evaluate door leakage.
Can anyone advise me on removing door trim without damaging it?
