Post Microwave built in "Door" error
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KEMC308KSS0
Age: 1 - 4 years

Yesterday, the Microwave refused to start and it showed "DOOR" error on the Electronic Control Panel... I turned the circuit breaker off for over 5 minutes, but when I turned it back on the Control panel screen had the following code "PF id=30"... When I tried it again, it still didn't operate and it gave me the "DOOR" message on the control panel.

Can anyone of you experts HELP!!.. What does the code mean? Is it a door issue or any other issue? How to fix?

Really appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,
Malek

The door code is telling you that there is a problem with the door circuit.

This could be a switch or it could be in the control.

Microwaves should be serviced by a qualified service technician.

Did you ever get this problem fixed? I have the same problem and the service tech replaced the entire door latch assembly on the right and it's still giving the same error.

Thanks!
