Default Microwave arcing
Brand: Other
Model Number: Emerson MW8109W
Age: 1 - 4 years

Microwave started arcing occasionally last week. I cleaned it, checked for any substance that would have caused this but can find nothing.
Am not sure if arcing is the right word, but flashing and noise comes from the right side of the interior where there is a small metal plate with vent
holes. Can this plate be removed?
Can't find the instruction booklet as we moved three years ago and that also has vanished.
After cleaning microwave flashing and noise happens at every attempt to use it. Is this appliance kaput or can it be fixed?
Thanks much!!
