Default Micro wave
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JMV8208AAS
Age: 1 - 4 years

After removing the unit I find that there is no ADAPTER, EXHAUST part on the exhaust ... Could this be the reason I am not getting good exhaust?? If I put a ADAPTER, EXHAUST on can I use my vent pipe or do I need to get one that will fit the adapter?
Thanks
Frank

Yes you should get the adapter.

Also check the following.

If you vent pipe is round you should get an adapter that goes from rectangular to round.

How long is the run of the vent?

It can not be more than 140 feet in length.

Each elbow is is 10 feet.

If you are using flexible ducting each foot is equal to two feet.

The adapter is equal to 5 feet.

What is the size of the venting?

It should be 3 1/4 x 10" rectangular or 6" diameter round.
