Post Maytag CMV1000ADB Door Glass
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: CMV1000ADB
Age: 5 - 10 years

I am replacing door trim on this Maytag CMV1000ADB.
Part of this repair requires me toremove the existing glass outer door from the existing trim & install it on the new trim using the special double sided tape.
What's the best procedure for removing the glass from the tape on the existing trim? It seems very tight. A new glass costs over $100 so you can see why I wish to re-use the existing glass.

The door must be separated to to install the new tape.

To do this use a putty knife and release the clip to take the door apart.

Start from the hinge side and work your way around the edge.

Here is a link to your microwave CMV1000ADB.
