Default Loose Control Panel
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JVM1860SF001
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a GE JVM1860SF001 and the control panel is loose - when you push the buttons the panel moves side-to-side. It appears that the bottom left corner and top right corner are no longer attached. I can't seem to find out how the panel attaches to the microwave to repair. Are there screws or "latches" that lock into place that may be broken? Do I have to replace the whole control panel frame (part # WB07X10561) to fix? Any assistance would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Most of these over the range microwaves have both clip and screws to hold the control panel in place.

The clips are on the top and the screws are on the bottom.

You will have to take the microwave down and remove the cover to find out.

Here is a link to your microwave model JVM1860SF001.
