When changing bulb on the bottom of the microwave, bulb broke and sent a spark. Before I attempted to change the bulb, the fan was working. Now is not. I removed the broken bulb, do you think that when I replace the bulb, the fan will work as well?

It looks like we stumped 'em DSal. There's gotta be a solenoid type swtich that got burned up on both of ours. I checked the little fuse behind the control panel and it's fine. I think the whole oven wouldn't work if that 250V fuse didn't work.Do your buttons still beep when you push them and does the LED read out still recognize the command? If they do,it supports my idea from when I used to work on cars. Electrical was the worst. That's why I opened a paint and body shop 30 years ago. Got any questions about automotive paint and repair,I'm your guy
