I have a Kenmore microwave, under counter type. Problem is this, no power at all. Thing worked fine then one day stopped. Fuse is good, no light on the control board or the interior cabinet. Curious to know if maybe it is the transformer or capacitor? Heaven knows. Help would be appreciated.

It is likely the internal fuse that is in the microwave.

This should be check by a qualified technician due to the high voltage circuit.

I had the same problem with the Kenmore above range microwave. It was working fine and then all of a sudden nothing. Dead. I unplugged for a few seconds and plugged it back in and it worked just like new. I hope it is this easy for you.

I have an under the counter Kenmore microvave that is approx 15 monthe old. It is making a motorized noise and smells like burning plastic. I am afraid to turn it on and after calling the number, I'm not paying another $ 100 to have a technician check it. Sears said the warranty was up in 1 year. The model number is 721 .800 19401 Serial number: 606tao 1259.

Check in your manual for the warranty.

So parts like the magnetron have longer warranties.

It could be the magnetron that has failed.
