Default Hole Burned in Microwave Door
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JVM1651BB 005
Age: 1 - 4 years

Something caught fire and burned a hole in the inside plastic on door and caused a small melted looking area (no hole) in outside plastic on door.

Can I get a new door for this microwave? Where do I get it.

Thanks

Here is a link to your microwave model JVM1651BB 005.

There are part of the door available but they should be installed by a technician so a leak test can be done after the repair.

If your door still closes ok and the RF sceen is not damaged, you probably are not leaking any radiation, probably ok to use. If screen damaged, new microwave time.
