I want to suspend this unit from a wall cabinet over a kitchen counter. I was given a P/N PS255039 2 reqd for this task. It appears the outer cover would need to come off, put the 2 brackets on chassis , put cover back on, remove plugs in cover, and use <> #10 hdwe thru bottom of cabinet into these brkts to complete the job. The parts folks said I should use this forum for some tech info. There appears to be no instructions with the 2 brkts. Please advise?::

If you still have your owners manual check in it for the instruction to mount the microwave.

Each model microwave can mount different.

Have the manual. called GE and got the above P/N. The price from GE was $81 for a mount for a 10 year old M/W when new ones are very reasonable now days. I couldn't see that price for thet vinage of M/W. The parts lady that I gave GE's mtg P/N cross referenced a pair of brkts for <>$5 ,when I questioned them and said they weren't techs. If I ordered those and that wasn't their intended purpose would parts select take them back?
