Default GE Microwave has small tear in plastic screen
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JVM3670SK
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a GE 1800XL that it looks like the previous owner had the same issue, that there have been many posts about. It looks like something has caused the interior plastic screen to have a small tear, probably about 1cm long, and has caused what looks like a small burn mark on the clear door.

Is this safe to use, or is it a situation where it's better to replace the door assembly. It's a fairly new unit, at the most 1 year old. Do I have to replace the entire door, or can I somehow just replace the screens. Thanks.
