when i turn on my microwave it works for about 10 seconds and the F-9 code pops up and the microwave stops working, don't know what this means if someone know please let me know and if i can fix it myself how can i fix it thanks.

The problem may be the inverter board or a grounded Magnetron tube, if your item is less than 5 years old call Sears if grounded Mag. part is stil under warranty.
Inverter Board it's only covered for 1 year unless stated otherwise on owner's manual.
