Default Dirty door
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: mh7130xeq-0
Age: 5 - 10 years

Can I take my microwave door apart and clean out the grease that has accumulated in the door layers?
Can the film be taken off the inside and replaced?
How did this happen?

The grease is likely from thing that where cook on the stove.

Grease particles are in the steam that rises when cooking.

The door can come apart but it not something that should be done unless it is done by a qualified technician.

Taking the door apart could result in a leak.

Here is a link to your microwave model mh7130xeq-0.
