Hello, I am new to the forum and need some advice. The cooktop light on my microwave does not work at all. It is a 3 way bright, dim, and off switch. I replaced the bulb and still nothing. Everything else works great, the button for the light even beeps when I press it. I checked for power to the socket and there seems to be nothing but there was power to the turntable. They both come off of the same wire harness. I thought about the bulb since it was just a regular appliance bulb but then it would at least come on when I pressed the button and with no power it kind of confirms the problem is elswhere in the unit. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

If there is no power to the socket it is like in the printed circuit board.

You may have a bad socket.

You will have to check the wiring.
