I have tried to replace the carousel tray drive bushing for this model. The bushing has a square top and a 3/16 shaft protruding with a half moon receptical which goes over a half-moon drive shaft. The shaft on the replacement bushings I have received is too short - it appears that it needs to be at lest 3/8".

Is there any where I can get a bushing with the proper length shaft, or can I replace the old round carousel tray and the square-top bushing with more modern replacements that have a "three-armed top" bushing and 3 "triangle" recesses in the carousel tray?

What is the part number of the bushing that you received?

The original part number from my Kenmore Repair Parts list was 5303212919. However this part is listed as not available at all sites, including Sears, that I have visited and it is notated that the manufacturer's replacement part number, which was shipped to me, and which is too short, is 5303303047.
