Default Belt on top of Micro wave melted off
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: W 145
Age: More than 10 years

WE have this Jenn Air Micro that works very well . However the belt ( about 36 in ) on top of range that goes from small motor on right rear corner to larger wheel in center ( air circulation) has burned off I have used a large rubber band that works well for awhile then it melts off. When I say for awhile I mean maybe 6 months. I cannot find a part number Hope some one can help.

Can you please verify your model number?

If the w is actually a m then here is a link to your microwave model m145.

If the belt is burning off the bearing is likely starting to seize up on the stirrer shaft.
