Default Westinghouse Trash Compactor Repair

Looking for some help please
I have a Westinghouse Trash Compactor Model TU900QPDB. When you start it,
it runs through the compacting cycle but does not shut off after it completes the cycle. We have to stand by it to hit the off button. Is it the directional switch or the on/off control panel on the front? Thanks for any feed back.

It likely the directional switch but you will have to check it with a meter to see if it is work.

Here is a link to your trash compactor model TU900QPDB.
