These have a control board inside of them that regulates the motor speed. We have shelves full of these in our shop that are brought in for repair, I mean rows and rows of them. I don't know if that means there are constant problems with them or there are just so many of them out there that the many we see are only a small drop in the bucket of whats actually out there. Your best bet is to probably take it into your local authorized service center and just have them go over the entire thing. It sounds like the control board is bad, but its possible the motor is bad and damaging the control board. This could be hard for you to confirm and just putting a new control board in it to have it damaged again could get very expensive for you fast. |
