[festive occasions]

We have 2 kitchen aid 5 quart mixers.
1. K45SS mixer speeds on each setting is a little high (starting with stir, it's just a little too fast).
1. K45SS mixer the lever moves on it's own to 3rd speed. We have a rubber band over it to hold it to each speed, but there's got to be a way to adjust it.

Need suggestions. Also, am looking for parts for both machines (mixing wands, wisks, etc...) any suggestions?
