Kenmore 50 gal power miser12 The water heater pilot light stays on as long as the burner does not kick on. Once the burner kicks on and heats the water to the disired temperature setting everything shuts down, the burner and the pilot light. I can relight the pilot light right away and it stays lit. I can turn the setting up and again the burner will kick on. Then it reaches its desired temperature and the burner and pilot light shuts down. I replaced the original thermocouple with a 190 degree. This did not work.
I would appreciate your suggestions.
Thanks Ed
