I'm looking at buying a whole new kitchen including french door fridg, convection gas range, microwave hood/vent and a dishwasher.

I've been looking at the LG brand but have questions that only you folks will answer honestly.
How does LG quality compare to Whirlepool or GE ? Are repair parts readily available to the DIY guy? Have any of you had problems with repair service?

I know that I should be looking at US made products but I've had more than my share of problems with Maytag and Amana. And GE has a fridge or range made by LG so I guess country of origin is never known.

Here's hoping you can give me some insight on these LG guys.
