We have this appliance since 9 years, I got the clock display fading since 1 month, then I got a first error code FC Oct 29 with a continuous bipping. I shutdown the main breakers off/on then the error FC cleared. Oven works fine however the clock display completely off since this morning. Oven works fine.

According to Jenn-Air error codes: FC Communication error between boards Wiring harness or power relay board (PRB)

There is 2 boards inside the control panel, the circuit Board Timer and the Board Relay


My question is which board should I replace first? My wife keeps threatening to call a service guy but it drives me nuts to watch some guy guessing with $200+ components at my expense when I could be doing that without the service call fees.

If the display has faded but everything works you will have to replace the clock.

You will need the last letter or letters of your model to ensure you get the right part for your model.

The relay board operate the oven.
