I need some detective work This is going to be a different kind of question.
I live in an apt. and have suffered a carbon monoxide poisoning from my furnace. The apt. managers have pulled several ruses trying to destroy my case for damages. The furnace was a GE furnace, about 40 years old. They disassembled the furnace, somewhere out of my sight, after removing it. I asked to see the heat exchanger. They brought it to the back door of the building, and I took pictures of it. There were no holes in it. I was just looking at my photographs, and I noticed that this ancient heat exchanger has a GE bill of sale attached to it.
There is a black strip at the top, and a black strip at the bottom, of the bill. In the black strip at the top, I can make out, "General Electric Gas Fired Warm Air Furnace." Does anyone know if that would likely be the original bill of sale, or might it be a bill that was attached to a recently purchased part. They have pulled several deceits on me, so I am suspicious. Especially since the furnace was tested (by an outside company) and was definitely leaking carbon monoxide but no cause was found (by them). And why would the old bill of sale be attached to the heat exchanger?
Thanks for your help. |
