Default Haier HVW18BSS Wine Cooler

Hi!

I bought this wine cooler 2 years from Costco. It stopped working about a month ago, no power.
I figured it must be a fuse. I opened the covers and I found two boards, each with two fuses on them.
Sure enough on one of the boards a fuse is gone.

How do you fix this since the fuse is soldered on to the board? Replace entire board? Is this board called a P.C.B.?

TIA,

TerraTom

Do you know what this fuse is for?
Did your manual include a wiring diagram?

2 way to replace the fuse
1. Solder a couple wire to a new fuse and replace it. As long as you are careful with the amount of heat on the end of the fuse, this works. Pretin tthe fuse befoes soldering on the wires..

2. Solder in a fuse holder. Depending on the board best would probably be an inline fuse holder. Sold at automotive supply stores.

Yes the board is a Printed Cicuit Board

Thumbs up Thanks!

The manufacturer did not offer a diagram.
I will follow your advice.
Thanks!
