Default GE Double Oven Fan Noise

Hello, My GE double oven model JTP45B0A2BB started making a vibrating noise. At first it was minor, now it is too loud to bear. It occurs approximately 10 minutes after the oven is on and stays on for at least 15 minutes after the oven was shut off. My thinking is that it is a cooling fan that either got loose or is not operating correctly. The odd thing is that some years back when I had a GE technician in the house for another appliance and I mentioned the fan sound on the oven (which was operating fine at that time) he said it was not a fan sound but that it was a carbon monoxide neutralizer or something similar, so up until recently I didn't think there was a cooling fan in this unit. Anyway, does anybody have any thoughts and if it is simply a fan replacement, is it easy to pull the oven out of the wall and replace it?

Thanks, joex

It is just a fan replacement. You most likely have bad bearings i n the motor. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
