Have Crosley CRTE151AW Refrig. Unit is 2 1/2 yrs old. Freezer & refrigerator temp. runs warm. Within 5 minutes of starting unit Cap tube and 8 inches of tube just before evaporator has ice on it. Rest of evaporator is above 50 degrees F. Why does unit run warm. Freezer 45F, refrigerator 60F

It sounds like you may have a restriction in the sealed system.

You should call for service.

Here is a link to your fridge model CRTE151AW.

It is possible that when they manufactured your fridge, the pushed the cap tube in the dryier to far causisng contact with the screen and over time it hase become blocked and the ( Refrigerant) cannot circulate the system, there is an easy fix for this , but you must becarefull, take a pair of needle nose pliers and at the end of the drier bend it one way so that it pulls the tube away from the screen but please becarefull to much and you will make a leak, the discharge side of the compressor should become verywarm in just minutes, if this dosent fix the problem then you should definantly call for service!!!!!!!
