Choosing a Contractor
When a repair goes beyond DIY, what do you look for when choosing a service pro? Honestly, my main criteria in the past has been "how fast can you get here?" What should I be looking for?

I think speed and quality are both options to look into. I would rather have a good job than a fast, sloppy one in the long run though.

If you want quality, the independents are usually good, particularly the sole proprieter type.
