Question Amana Gas Range circa 1995

My Amana Gas stove is acting up. One day it started spontaneously to fire the igniter in the oven. If I unplugged the stove (the electronics) it would stop but then the whole idea of having auto ignite on the top went out the window. The oven will work if I plug it in, (ignitor starts) turn on the gas (leave oven door open) and when I hear the flame ignite (usually about 30 - 45 seconds) I unplug the oven, igniter stops and I continue with dinner. Burners up top I use with a BBQ lighter. What part am I looking to replace here? Thanks

Can you please supply the model number of your range?

The model number can be found on the frame to the range where the drawer closes.

You either have a bad ground or the spark switch has failed.

The spark switch is mounted in front or the thermostat.

Here is a link to your oven model AGM585WW.
