Sharpening Blades
Is it worth it or even possible to sharpen the blades on your garbage disposal? Is this one of those items it's just better to replace?

Garbage disposals are so cheap now, I think they are made to be a rather disposable appliance.

I don't think garbage disposals have blades. And, I don't believe there is anything to sharpen inside. See this site for some useful info:

I was not sure if garbage disposals had blades either that would need to be sharpened.

I was just reading in my new disposer manual and it says it's good to grind up pits, small bones and ice. I guess it cleans it or something....it suggests citrus peels to make it smell better.
