We have an older garbage disposal that has not worked since we moved in. We've tried the reset button with no results. What should I do next to diagnose the problem?
Check to make sure it's getting power. If it is then use the wrench (big allen wrench that goes into a socket in the bottom of the disposal) to try and rotate the motor. It might be on a "dead spot".
