I have a kitchenaid model KBDS250X4. It jammed, but nothing fell into it. I tried to push the reset button, but it does not click in. I used the tool supplied to try to release it, but it does not go on. I hear a hum when I try to put it on, but it does not turn. Is there a way to take it apart to release the jam?

You will have to remove it from the sink.

If there is nothing stuck in it and it will not turn the bearings may be worn.

If it will turn but the motor hums then the motor may be faulty.
