Hello: I have a 2 year old garbage disposal which is not making a sound. I did the reset button, plugged it into another outlet which works well, and there is no bottom center crank to use an allen wrench. When I push the reset button and plug it back in, no noise occurs, but the reset button pops out. There is no place for allen wrench to move the fly wheel. Need any help I can get. thanks for your time. manny in arizona

Can you please supply your model number and make of your disposer?

if reset pops out it is getting power. sounds like it's jammed. may have to drop it from sink and turn it from top. might look down inside and see if there is a bolt you could grab with a socket and long extension to break it free while still installed. circuit breaker only pops out when ther is a jam.

Don't, don't, don't even think about trying to free it while it is pluged in. PL
