Alfee, I am betting on the door switch. Here is what I want you to do. Un plug the dryer, and take the filter out, and then take the 2 phillips head screws out next to it. Then get a putty knife, and slide it in under the top on the right front corner, and pop up the top on that side, and then do the same on the other side. Push the top back up to the wall. Now take the molex plug that connects to the door switch off, you kind of have to slide a thin screw driver between both sides of the plug to seperate them. Once you do that, what we need to do is jump out the door switch. Get a piece of wire, and strip the ends off, and stick one end in the far left hole of the molex plug, and the other end on the far right side of the molex plug, leaving the center of the molex plug alone. Put a bunch of black tape around it so the wires stay in place, and they dont hit metal, and then plug it in, and see if it comes on. Tom ApplianceEducator.com |
