Default same problem

I have the same problem with Whirlpool gas dryer model LGR4634EQ1. It won't shut off on it's own and supplies no heat. Unit is approximately 10 years old with no previous problems. I have moved four times so that might contribute to a little more wear and tear. Advanced Thanks for any help provided.

Sounds like your start switch is bad and it will stop when you open the door but comes back on when you close it, or when you open the door it dosent stop and will still run that sound like a bad door switch , it really just depends on when it does it!!!!

I have a Kenmore 110.64944300 dryer that will run and blow air but won't heat at all to dry the clothes. I have replaced the heating element and thermal fuse and still no luck. I have continuinity with both also. Any suggestions?

It is possibe that you have dropped one side of your power and the machine is only getting 120 volts and not 240 like it should it will still run, but wont heat insure there is 240 volts to the machine if you have continiuty on both of those this could quite possibly be the problem!!!!!!!
