I have a whirlpool 9200LW dryer that runs, but won't heat. Could this be the thermal fuse? or the heater element? Thermal fuses are alot less expensive, but would like some advise.

If the thermal fuse opens the dryer will not run.

Check to make sure that you have 240 volts to the dryer.

Check to see that the heating element is good.

Can you please verify your model number?

It should be on a tag with the serial number usually in the door opening.

We have fixed the dryer. It was the heating element that was burnt out. Thanks for your help.
