Default Whirlpool Dryer Timer Replacement
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: More than 10 years

I recently bought a new timer for my dryer. Today, I went to replace it and noticed that the back (connections) are completely different. They both have wire color codes on the back, but it just doesn't seem to look like a perfect swap. I have attached the pictures of both the old one and the new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Can you please supply the model number to your dryer and the part number that is stamped on each of the timers?

The number should be on the front of the timer.

Can you also give the reason for replacing the timer?

The number that is stamped on the back of the timer is not the part number.

The part number would be on the the side of the timer on a white tag.

The part number is the number in front of the FSP trade mark.

It would looks like you may have the wrong timer unless it is a substitute.

Did you order it using your model number?

I looked at the timers and it looks like these should be the numbers you are looking for...

Old Timer - 3392250D

New Timer - 6 3095520 -or- 013-94278 -or- 6282A4

Again, thanks for your help!

You will have to reorder your timer.

Here is the timer for your dryer model LER4624BW2.

Here is the timer part number PS351737.

The timer that I bought is brand new...and I don't need it. Is there anyway that you guys would be willing to make a swap of some sorts?

You would have to return it to the place that you purchased it from.
