Don't replace anything with out checking it. If you are technical, and don't have a meter, first un plug the dryer, and take the back off the product, and locate the thermal fuse, which is located at the top of the heater box. Take off the two wires and put them together, and make sure they do not hit any metal. plug the dryer in, and see if it heats. If it does, then replace the thermal fuse. It will come in a kit, with the high limit thermostat, that is located on the bottom end of the heater housiong. If you don't want to check it that way, take off the thermal fuse, and take it to your local part house, and have them test it for you. If it test good, buy an element. Tom
