Default Whirlpool Drum won't spin
Model Number: LER5644JQ0
Age: 1 - 4 years

I was on hold with Whirlpool to order service for 20 minutes. I managed to take apart the dryer in that time. Since everything else seems to be working, I'm guessing this is like the vacuum cleaner where a belt needs to be replace. Trouble is - I don't see a belt anywhere.
Help is much appreciated.

If you have lifted the top of the dryer and do not see the belt around the drum then you are right the belt is broken.

Have you removed the front of the dryer?

Here is a link to your dryer model LER5644JQ0.

Default Aha! Thanks

That did it. The trick is take the front off. Just pop it off of those little tabs.
