Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LT7000XVN0
Age: More than 10 years

HI, I HAVE A THIN TWIN STACKED SET THAT IS DRIVING ME NUTS. MY WIFE AND I WANTED TO CHECK THE MUCH WRITTEN ABOUT THERMAL FUSE BUT CANNOT FIND IT AFTER TAKING THE DRYER APART. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS IF MY OLD WHIRLPOOL HAS ONE? ALSO WHAT IS THE MOST COMMON CAUSE OF NON HEATING? THANKS

You have lots of choices

Dryer Bulkhead section
28 heater thermostat
42 limit thermostat
47 thermal cutout
48 high limit thermostat
50 thermal cutoff (not sure about this one could not tell from the drawing)

Thank you for the reply. I replaced the element and nothing then replaced the thermal cutoff. Disco... works great
