How many volts should the igniter on my gas dryer be getting. My brother in law says that it is getting about 16 volts, but is not sure if that is enough. How does the igniter work. Does it heat up and glow to ignite the gas or is it a electronic spark that ignites the gas.
Thanks

Sorry we do not give advice on gas appliances due to safety concerns.

It is best to have a qualified gas technician service it.
