Question Uh Oh
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: SDE515DAYW
Age: 1 - 4 years

I unplugged the wiring before finding the note to make a wiring diaghram and hooked up the wires and blew the internal fuse. Replaced the fuse and now the timer motor is out and the intellidry card has a black spot on it. The wiring diagrahm sent with this dryer does not use all the same colors that the dryer has on it. I think the timer motor is out as I get no ohm reading on it. Need to know for sure how the timer is hooked up on this model so I don't ruin another timer motor and intellidry card. Thanks for any help. FDH

What is the difference in the colors of the wires?

Your wiring diagram should be the correct one for your dryer.

The wire may have faded a little. White could look like cream. Red could look pink.
