Unhappy Tumble Dryer
Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: VTD20
Age: 1 - 4 years
The belt snapped and have got a new one and checked the part number and was the same but when gone to fit it is way to small only just fits round the drum!! Any ideas????

It sound like you may have received one that is for a portable dryer.

Can you please check the model number on your dryer?

What is the part number of the belt you received.
